The Ingham County Drain Commissioner’s web site was established to serve the public with information filed in the Drain Commissioner’s Office, and also information about the role of the Drain Commissioner in Michigan and the County of Ingham.

These pages are not a comprehensive resource for all the records that exist nor of all the duties of the Drain Commissioner.  They are updated frequently and additional information is posted as it becomes digitally available.  The content of these web pages is based on records dating back to the 1800’s. These records have historically been available only in the Drain Commissioner’s Office and in many cases are hand written original documents.
